Had a cracking DBQ gig at Open Studio last Sunday but tonight I’m playing with Big Band Frequency at Dizzy’s Jazz Club. It’s gonna be fun.
We tore it apart last Sunday .. looking to do the same tomorrow! Get on down to Open Studio from 5-7pm. http://t.co/NqEL0kj7oC

Failure is the universe’s way of making sure you have an open mind.
2 gigs and 3 rehearsals in 8 days. 2 down… 3 to go!
Played one of the most fun gigs in ages yesterday. Great band, great tunes & a great crowd. http://t.co/zk6JFeHpZ4
The Daimon Brunton Quartet plays Open Studio, 204 High St, Northcote from 5pm-7:30pm TODAY!
Our feature gig at The SheppARTon Arts Festival couldn’t have gone better. A packed house of attentive ears gave a hearty nod to the new tunes (yet to be recorded) that will make it onto the upcoming album .. ‘A Jazz Odyssey’.
If you are in Melbourne and would like to check out the revamped line-up and brand new tunes head on down to Open Studio, 204 High St, Northcote this Sunday (17th March) and next Sunday (24th March) from 5:00pm – 7:30pm.
The new originals are brand new in every way but do take a moment to ‘dip their hat’ to Freddie Hubbard and Terence Blanchard. More tuneful and complex than the tunes featured on ‘Wah Sa’ but still with the electric intensity featured on that release.
Hope to catch you Open Studio over the next two Sundays.
