The band played an amazing gig at Australia’s most iconic jazz club, Sydney’s – The Basement. The band is now in Brisbane and is playing The Brisbane Jazz Club tonight.
The band is getting tighter and tighter with each passing gig and tonight’s gig at The Brisbane Jazz Club will be tour de force of jazz groove in honour of the late great Freddie Hubbard.
The tour lead-up work is progressing nicely. The poster and press release already complete and work has begun on album graphics (our graphic designer, Etienne Rizzo, is pulling out all the stops and everything is looking flash. Furthermore, work has begun on new arrangements, structures and harmonisations for the charts to be performed on tour. These gigs will be amazing!
Thanks to everyone who came on down and checked out the band during our Sunday residency at Open Studio. For those of you who missed it, we have uploaded three new videos from these sessions. Click here to check these out!
